General Information |
A visa is an endorsement on a passport or travel document by a consular officer indicating that the holder may be permitted to enter and stay in the Philippines for a specified period. However, it is not a guarantee that the holder will be admitted into the country as visa holders are still subject to normal immigration control at the port of entry. The Bureau of Immigration (BI) is principally responsible for the administration and enforcement of immigration, citizenship, and alien admission and registration laws in accordance with the provisions of the Philippine Immigration Act of 1940. |
International inbound travelers are required to register with the eArrival CARD within 72 hours prior departure at the country of origin to avoid inconvenience upon arrival. |
For those who would like to apply for a Philippine visa, the Consular Section of the Embassy is open from Monday to Friday, from 0900H to 1700H, except on Myanmar and Philippine holidays. No appointment needed. |
