01 December 2025, YANGON – In a flag raising ceremony, the Philippine Embassy in Yangon, Myanmar, joined the nation in commemorating the annual 18-Day Campaign to End Violence against Women (EVAW) which runs from 25 November until 12 December 2025. CDA Angelito Nayan, in his speech, highlighted this year’s campaign theme “UNiTEd for a VAW-free Philippines” and reiterated the Embassy’s commitment to gender mainstreaming its programs as part of its year-long Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives.
