The processing of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) clearance is in the Philippines. The applicant will send the NBI Card Form No. 5, together with an authorization letter and payment, to his/ her representative in the Philippines who will process the clearance with the NBI.

The Embassy will assist the applicant who is applying for the NBI clearance in terms of fingerprinting on the NBI card form.

Below are the requirements:

1. Original and photocopy of passport data page
2. Two (2) pieces of latest 2x2 photograph taken not more than three (3) months ago, with name and signature written at the back of these photographs.
3. Notarial fee of US$25.00.

NOTE: New applicants are required to register through www.nbi-clearance.com. If the representative of the applicant will process the NBI, an authorization letter is required.
